Alisha L. Broughton – Living on the Edge Poetic Verse

I want to leave you with this scripture.

Hebrews 10:35-38 (35) So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. (36) You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. (37) For in just a very little while, “He who is coming will come and will not delay. (38) But my righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him.” (39) But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved.

Jeremiah 29:11, for I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.  Proverbs 23:18, There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.
Proverbs 24:14, Know also that wisdom is sweet to your soul; if you find it, there is a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.ISBN 978-0-9843255-0-4

Celebrating Michael Jackson Looking Back at the King of Pop by Anelda Ballard

Celebrating Michael Jackson Looking Back at the King of Pop

This book was written in hopes that it would keep Michael Jackson’s memory alive. I wanted to give his fans the opportunity to take a moment to look back at Michael’s life and reminisce about the positive times only.

You will not read about any negative things in this book. You can turn on the TV, read the newspaper or a magazine, or go on the internet for that. We will go back from his childhood up until his untimely death on June 25, 2009. He passed way at the young age of 50, and it broke our hearts.

I pray that something read or something seen will enlighten or touch your heart. We will look back at his music and more. So let’s start taking a look back and celebrate Michael Joseph Jackson’s life that touched so many!

The best entertainer, the true “King of Pop” and the most generous humanitarian that ever lived.

Alkaline Foods Cookbook by Keith Exum

Keith Exum

Alkaline Foods Cookbook

I was like most people when finding out about alkalinity, I wanted to know, what could I eat and how do I prepare and cook it?

Being a Chef and herbalist for over 25 years made it a lot easier for me than most to prepare, alter and come up with new cooking ideas. Some are under the impression that once you cook something that’s alkaline you can destroy its alkalinity.

This is far from the truth. For an example, tomatoes contain lycopene, a form of antioxidant. Raw tomatoes have a total antioxidant potential of about 80, but if you cook the tomatoes the anti- oxidant potential increases six fold. This is because the raw tomato has been trans formed to trans-lycopene in the cooked version do to the heat infusion, and trans-lycopene is much more readily absorbed by the body.

This is the same with most foods. Finally a book that gives you the alkaline food list and how to prepare and cook them, so you can remain healthy, energized, and vitalized.

STRAIGHT UP HOPE by Sheila Andrien

Sheila Andrien

STRAIGHT UP HOPE

Sheila is best described as a true over comer in Jesus Christ. She spent 36 years of her life truly lost and climbed up from the gates of hell to find that God was at the door. When describing herself, she quotes the Williams Brothers saying “I’m just a nobody trying to tell everybody about somebody that can change anybody.”

This is a simple book of her story, filled with struggles and triumphs along with beautiful poetry that God has blessed her with. She tells it like it is and doesn’t sugar coat. She tries to express the unconditional love that Jesus has so freely given us and the blessings and disappointments she has experienced living with Jesus in her life.

Enjoy the journey and be encouraged, for He is with us no matter where life has taken us. “When all you can do is hold on because if you let go; you just might drown.”

The Psalms and Prayers Of Joseph Vol.1 by Joseph Allen Ashe, Sr

Joseph Allen Ashe, Sr

The Psalms and Prayers Of Joseph Vol.1

I was always a “Good Kid, I graduated from High School. I Excelled in Sports and I was taught right from wrong. In fact. I was taught the Word of God and had the greatest mother in the history of mothers. Yet, I got myself into drugs, I’ve been to prison. I’ve lived on the streets. I’ve stayed in abandon building and cars. I’ve had nights so cold, I couldn’t feel my fingers and toes. I had tears and snot frozen to my face. There were so many times that I should have been dead. I’ve had times when I almost died. I’ve had times when I wanted to die. You might say that I’ve even prayed for death.
